IT Consultant

Working half of the time as a System Engineer being responsible for designing, implementing, managing and maintaining IT systems and networks within local municipal governments and helping with internal projects. The other half working as a Security Consultant as teamleader, pentesting, writing detailed reports and advising local municipal governments on security best practices. While working as a Security Consultant, helped setup a cybersecurity service to make municipal goverments more cybersecurity aware and/or NIS 2.0 compliant.
 

Security Consultant/Pentester 

United Airlines, Knauf, Puma, Flemish Goverment, Bpost and more (via DXC Technology) / Mar 2022 - Oct 2022 - Mechelen, BE

Worked for as a Security Consultant penetrationtesting international companies like United Airlines, Knauf, Puma and more as well as national instances like the Flemish Goverment and Bpost. Throughout this periode I did web apllication and network penetration tests using mostly Linux and tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, Acunetix, Metasploit, NMAP, sslscan, Hashcat/JohnTheRipper and more. Lastly I used the tool Ghostwriter to make a detailed report after every test and afterwards clarified my findings to the costumer. 

Intern 

Thomas More (via First IT) / Sep 2021 - Jan 2022 - Mechelen BE

While being and intern at First IT lead a firewall migration from a FortiGate to an AXSGuard, worked in a datacenter as well as completed my bachelor's thesis. The subject of my thesis was to come up with a Zero-Trust Architecture for small businesses doing research into different vendors while thinking of cost, implementation time, easy of use and other factors that are important to small businesses.
